Fortuna Silver Mines Inc. (NYSE:FSM) has reported the first gold pour from its Lindero Mine in Argentina’s Salta province, which went on to produce 728 ounces of gold. The company’s CEO, Director, and President, Jorge A. Ganoza, commented:

 

“The first gold pour at Lindero, our third mine in the Americas, is a significant achievement for the Company as we advance the mine’s ramp-up phase towards commercial production in the first quarter of 2021. Lindero is a mine with reserves for a projected life of thirteen years and is a pillar in Fortuna’s asset portfolio.” Mr. Ganoza continued, “I want to take this opportunity to commend our Salta based team’s commitment and hard work in achieving this milestone, especially in the context where COVID-19 related restrictions continue to pose multiple limitations.”

 

White Gold Corp. (TSXV:WGO) has identified additional gold mineralization at multiple targets on its JP Ross property following positive trench, GT probe and soil sample results. Highlights include the trenching of 29 trenches, totalling 1,114 linear metres, one of which encountered a high-grade zone grading 8.88 g/t Au over 2.5m. White Gold CEO David D’Onofrio said:

 

“We are pleased to have encountered additional gold mineralization across multiple recently identified zones as well as the high-grade gold mineralization on the newly discovered Notorious target, providing further indication that the abundant gold mineralization is part of a robust regional scale structurally controlled system. To date at least 14 gold targets have been identified on the JP Ross property across a 14km by 11km area, many within close proximity to significant current and historical placer gold operations.”

 

Kodiak Copper Corp. (TSXV:KDK) has reported additional drill results from its 100 percent-owned MPD copper-gold porphyry project in southern British Columbia, Canada. This includes a large zoned and significantly enriched copper-gold envelope at the property’s Gate Zone, which according to the press release is typical of porphyry hosted mineralization. Claudia Tornquist, President and CEO of Kodiak, said:

 

"We are pleased to report complete assays for two holes of this year's drill program at the Gate Zone. We previously reported the discovery of a high-grade copper-gold zone central to MPD-20-004 having 1.16% copper equivalent over 282 metres. This is one of the most impressive copper gold intercepts reported from a porphyry project in southern B.C.”

 

Loncor Resources Inc. (TSX:LN) has begun drilling on its 84.68 percent-owned Imbo Project in the eastern part of the Ngayu greenstone belt in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The project boasts 2.5 million ounces, composed of the Adumbi, Kitenge and Manzako deposits with inferred mineral resources of 30.65 million tonnes grading 2.54 g/t Au. Loncor’s CEO Arnold Kondrat commented:

 

“Through this focussed drill program we are targeting a significant increase of resources at the Adumbi deposit, both within and below the open pit. If we achieve our expectations, the next step will be a Preliminary Economic Assessment to illustrate the positive economic potential that we believe is contained within Adumbi and the neighbouring deposits.”
