Barrick Gold Corporation (NYSE:GOLD) has signed a definitive agreement with Bullfrog Gold Corp. (CSE:BFG) wherein Barrick will sell the latter all of its mining claims, historical resources, permits, rights of way and water rights in the Bullfrog mine area. Bullfrog's CEO & President, David Beling, commented:

First Majestic Silver Corp. (NYSE:AG) has revealed production results for Q3 2020, including 5.2 million silver equivalent ounces consisting of 3.2 million ounces of silver and 25,771 ounces of gold. This represents an increase of 72 percent in silver production and a 63 percent increase in gold production over the last quarter. First Majestic President and CEO, Keith Neumeyer, said:

 

“During the quarter, higher production rates along with improved metal prices and the recent investment by Eric Sprott resulted in significant growth of our treasury to $232 million at quarter end. At the operations, we recorded strong quarterly silver production at both La Encantada and San Dimas due to higher milling rates and we expect this trend will continue going forward into 2021. Santa Elena is expected to see higher grades and milling rates in the fourth quarter of 2020 as additional workers have recently arrived to site to assist with increasing underground ore production. While the COVID-19 situation has thrown many new complexities at the business, I’m proud of our team’s overall production results and our continued commitment towards ensuring the health and safety of all our employees on site and within our local communities.”

 

Eldorado Gold Corporation (NYSE:EGO) has reported a Q3 2020 preliminary production of 136,672 ounces of gold, making for a 35 percent increase over Q3 2019. In particular, gold production at the company’s Kisladag mine saw a 66 percent increase over Q3 2019 with 59,593 ounces produced. The company’s Olympias mine produced 13,912 ounces in the quarter, which makes for a 75 percent increase over Q3 2019.

 

Minaurum Gold Inc. (TSXV:MGG) has discovered exceptional grades at its Alamos Silver Project in Sonora, Mexico. Drilling highlights at the site include: 5.1 m of 769 g/t Ag, 0.76% Cu; incl. 3.1 m of 1,197 g/t Ag, 1.38% Cu in hole AL20-046, 2.9 m of 636 g/t Ag, 1.36% Cu, 3.85% Pb, 7.18% Zn in hole AL20-044, and 1.75 m of 144 g/t Ag, 4.15% Pb, 9.10% Zn in hole AL20-043. Minaurum President and CEO, Darrell Rader, said:

 

"We are very pleased by these high-grade silver results from the Promontorio Vein, historically the second largest producer at Alamos. These results confirm that mining stopped in mineralization and that it continues to depth. We are continuing to trace the mineralized shoot through systematic 75- to 150-metre step-outs along strike and down-dip."
