Aurcana Silver Corporation (TSXV:AUN) (OTC:AUNFF) has provided an update regarding pre-production
activities at its wholly owned Revenue-Virginius Mine in Ouray, Colorado. The
company anticipates a production ramp up “during July 2021 and its target of
reaching full production levels in September 2021.” According to the press
release, in May “key underground activities included continued steady advance
rates in the vertical development of the alimak raises,” “the #1 Alimak Raise
development is nearly complete and ready for installation of the timber and
hoist,” the #3 Alimak Raise has reached the 1800 level,” “crosscut development
to intersect the main Virginius vein on the 1800 level is on schedule and
process plant upgrades remain on track.”
Getchell Gold Corp. (CSE:GTCH) has started its 4,000 metre Phase One 2021 drill
program on the Central Area of the Fondaway Canyon Gold Project in Nevada. The
company’s President, Mike Sieb, explained:
"The
stellar results from the 2020 drill program blew the potential of the Fondaway
Canyon Gold Project wide open. The revised geological interpretation represents
more than a doubling in the projected down-dip extent of the gold
mineralization from previous geological models and has provided ample target
areas for the 2021 drill program to further delineate and expand upon our
recent discoveries."
Through ongoing research, White Metal Resources Corp. (TSXV:WHM) has uncovered historical percussion drilling
reporting 27.0 m of 1.47% Cu and 11.7 g/t Ag at the Epunguwe Target area, near
the Okohongo Cu-Ag Deposit in northwest Namibia. White Metal’s President and
CEO, Michael Stares, said:
"I
am extremely pleased to report this additional data and information from the
Okohongo Copper-Silver Project, which gives me further assurance that there is
still room to grow and find additional resources on the Property. Although
there is sparse historical drilling north of the Okohongo Copper-Silver
Deposit, these stratiform sedimentary hosted copper systems have a tendency to
pinch and swell, and knowing from the historical data that there is a 3 km by
half a km wide soil geochemical anomaly in the area of the Epunguwe Target
area, leads me to think that there is still a lot of potential to find more
copper silver mineralization.”
GoldON Resources Ltd. (TSXV:GLD) has reported final assays and has provided a
summary of Phase II diamond drilling at its West Madsen gold property. The
press release indicates the discovery of an increasingly well-defined package
of Balmer rocks, which “presents abundant targets for future diamond drilling,”
as well as a “notable increase in the intensity of biotite alteration, which is
strongly associated with gold mineralization.”
